Thank you!

Thank you to all of you who have been following and reading my blog here. In the coming days I have decided to move my remaining posts from here to my main blog http://karenmomofthreescraft.blogspot.ca/

I publish daily on my main blog and will continue to do so. I had hoped to be able to write both blogs daily and publish more Canadian Content on this blog, however it has become increasingly more difficult to find and publish Canadian Etsy shops and products at this time.
I hope you will continue to follow me on my main doll blog and thank each and everyone of you who has stopped by to read. I look forward to hearing from you there.

Doll Tents on Etsy

I love my doll tent, mine is an Our Generation one I got from my sister who found it at Zellers here in Canada but I always admire the handmade ones I see on Etsy, here are some of the ones  Etsy has to offer for our 18 inch dolls.
Over at Twice loved dolls this fun set is offered at $58 and includes
"This sale includes this enormous tent - it comfortably fits 2 dolls! The tent is easily set up and easily taken down. It can be closed up so the boys can have privacy, or it can be opened up with ribbon tie backs. This tent has a pirate theme - arrrrgh matey! The tent is crafted out of 100% cotton fabric, so once the tent poles are out, it can be easily laundered. It also comes with the matching "mummy style" sleeping bag and pillow, crafted out of the same fabric. This tent will provide lots of fun play time!" Click here for shop listing
Over at Erin's Corner Etsy shop this adorable set offered at $49  "Each tent is loving hand made and has screened Windows and doors. The doors have velcro closures and tie backs and the windows have flaps that can either be left down or rolled up. The tents are supported by 2 4 1/2 ft lengths of plastic tubing that can be easily removed for storage, transportation, or light washing." Click here for shop listing
Over at My Girl Clothing Co this Red and Taupe Tent is sure to impress your doll loving boy or girl click here for shop listing

If you want to try making your own tent from the now out of print Simplicity Pattern I actually found one on Etsy, offered at $48 from Oh Sew Charming . If you want to try your hand at creating your own set click here for shop listing.

Now if you do not sew and still want to make a tent check out the one I made for Doll Diaries  by clicking here

Maplelea Monday- Spotlight on Brianne

Brianne is one of my most favorite dolls, I have had her in my collection and simply love her, however I think her collection items are some of my least favorite Maplelea Offers.
However her Prima Ballerina Ballet outfit is exquisite and as with all the Maplelea Products is extreamly well made.
Here Sun Day outfit is cute and age appropriate if not on the younger side but I do like the colors and the styles they have chose for this doll.
Her pet rabbits and horse are also wonderful additions to Brianne's line.

I love Brianne's soft features and she has been used in many of my doll posts here, on my main blog and on Doll Diaries
I hope you enjoyed today's post. As with all my posts I would love to hear from you so please leave me a comment here or email me at karenmowen@gmail.com

If you are thinking about Dolly Back to school time check out this blog post I found from A Doll for All Seasons.
I happened upon her blog using Pinterest when I was looking for something completely different and was so excited to see it I wanted to share it with all of you.
I love that the internet gives us ways to share our talent and hobbies with others and I love that there are so many cost effective ways to create fun and fantastic items for your dolls.
I was so excited to see this as I have this very bottle in my drying rack that I was going to use for another purpose but I love how Donna of A Doll for All Seasons has used it as a water bottle very clever!

American Doll Rooms- The best doll play accessory!

If you are reading this post and are familiar with my posts here, my main doll blog, and my writing on Doll Diaries then you have seen first hand how much I love and use my American Doll Room all the time.

There are so many reasons I love my American Doll Room and why I recommend it for any doll lover. The first reason American Doll Rooms are the best doll play accessory is that like the above photo indicates, they "flip, play, fold, carry" and store flat! Easy and fast clean up, you will not regret this purchase as when not in play it stores in it's own special bag and can slide behind a couch, under a bed or be placed in an easy to access cupboard. I say easy to access because your doll lover is going to want to play with this set all the time.
The second reason I love this set is the American Doll Room offers an indoor and outdoor option on all it's rooms. You can set it up as indoor play, bedroom, living room, bathroom, store, etc and outside use it to enjoy all the doll back yard has to offer. Just look at some of the posts I have used it in on Doll Diaries
Bathroom
Patio Parties
Living room and bedroom
I have used it for so many posts and doll play dates this room is well played with and in great shape after being used almost every day for the last 9 months.
It works with American Girl Doll furniture as well as hand made and Etsy furniture, any doll play items you may have already on hand.
I love this commercial done by A Bee Line's Etsy shop, using the American Doll Room
and I am thrilled to share with you this sneak peek at the new Historical Doll Room American Girl Doll Room is going to be releasing in September!
I am so excited for the release of the new American Doll Room's and I know these are going to be so popular! TIP ****These rooms make excellent gifts for the up coming holiday gift giving season! Order early to avoid disappointment!***
